The Trump administration’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” introduces major tax reforms, most notably the permanent extension of tax cuts from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), which were originally set to expire in 2025. But what does this mean in practice for companies doing business in the United States?

Beyond these reforms, the U.S. tax system remains highly complex and poses significant challenges for foreign firms. The U.S. has no nationwide sales tax; instead, individual states impose their own sales and use taxes, which vary widely across the country. These taxes apply not only to the sale of goods but can also affect the provision of services.

This webinar provides an up-to-date overview of the U.S. tax landscape—from exporting goods and services to establishing a presence or making investments in the U.S.—and offers practical guidance on identifying and managing potential risks. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss their individual questions.

This webinar is offered statewide by the Düsseldorf Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Düsseldorf), with support from IHK NRW – The Chambers of Industry and Commerce in North Rhine-Westphalia.
