Since taking office on January 20, President Donald Trump and his administration have been driving rapid and fundamental change—keeping the public in a state of constant attention. Now, 95 days into his presidency, we aim to make sense of an often confusing political landscape:
What key policy directions have already been set? How are American society, the legislative and judicial branches, the media, and international partners responding? Which issues are dominating public discourse in the U.S.—from economic and immigration policy to cultural shifts and the role of democratic institutions? What impact can already be felt, and what might we expect from the Trump administration in the years to come?
We’ll explore these and other questions in conversation with:
-
Erik Kirschbaum – Author and Freelance Journalist
-
Prof. Dr. Regina Schober – American Studies Scholar, Expert in Literature and Culture
-
Prof. Dr. Jared Sonnicksen – Professor of Political Systems, Institute of Political Science, RWTH Aachen University
