Under the inspiring direction of Julie Nakagawa, DanceWorks Chicago (DWC) is dedicated to providing a foundation for the individual artistic growth of dancers and choreographers, and to creating an opportunity through which these emerging artists propel themselves and their art together to the highest levels of performance through training, collaboration, mentoring, and performances.
Choreographically, DWC continues to discover new voices while taking advantage of opportunities to network with more established choreographers worldwide, providing support and perspective for all involved.
