  • Exchange practical experiences with local German businesses on topics such as market strategies, certification requirements, and distribution.

Target Group
Employees of NRW-based companies working in management, area sales, distribution, production, business development, or innovation management.

Target Regions: New York and Boston
The ICT and innovation sectors are among the most important industries in the northeastern United States, with New York as a key hub. Over 60,000 professionals work in cybersecurity in New York alone, and more than 300 companies are dedicated specifically to this field. As the world’s second-largest tech ecosystem, New York City is home to over 25,000 tech-driven startups as well as more than 100 accelerators and incubators.

Recent investments and the continued shift toward sustainable technologies underscore New York City’s role as a leading tech hub and demonstrate the city’s growing influence across a range of technology sectors worldwide.

Boston is home to world-class institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Fraunhofer USA Center for Manufacturing Innovation, both of which are engaged in ongoing cybersecurity research in cooperation with international partners.

The region benefits from a dense concentration of professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), with an expected increase of up to 700,000 jobs by the end of the decade, supported by government-funded initiatives.

Both cities are defined by their diverse resources, strong investment activity, and powerful networks of professionals, innovation leaders, and institutions.
