“Regulation Overload – Is the diversity of standards still manageable for companies in international competition?”
on March 14, 2024 | from 17:00 until 18:30
at the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (Atrium), Emilie-Preyer-Platz 1, 40479 Düsseldorf, followed by a get-together.
Supply chain, taxonomy & co. – In just a few years, the European Union and member states have passed numerous new laws aimed at transforming the economy into a climate-neutral and sustainable one. The speed of legislation is breathtaking and the scope of legal norms is high. New legal concepts are not limited to companies’ sphere of influence and do not even stop at the EU’s borders. Companies are therefore demanding more restraint from the state when it comes to regulation.
Discuss with our panel of experts: What is the right way to push through ambitious reform plans? What is the view of legislation in Germany and Europe on the other side of the Atlantic? What regulatory conflicts could arise?
