Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner 2023
It’s that time of year again. Soon, it will be:
“Happy Thanksgiving!”
Our beloved “Original American Thanksgiving Dinner” will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, starting at 6:00 PM, due to the exceptionally positive experience of last year and numerous requests. This year’s venue is once again the Consilium restaurant, Rathausplatz 1, Spanish Building 50667 Cologne.
Consilium was recently awarded the Golden Pepper Mill by the Culinary Academy (Cabinet) for outstanding achievements in cuisine and service.
Chef Hans-Jürgen Becker personally prepares the following menu for you:
- Sparkling wine aperitif for the welcome
- American pumpkin soup with croutons
- Thanksgiving turkey with applesauce, cranberry relish, glazed carrots, honey and balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, sweet potato puree, stuffing, and gravy
- Pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream
- Kitchen’s surprise conclusion
Please note: A vegetarian alternative to turkey is also available: Samosas served separately.
Participation fee this time:
- Only €41 per person (subsidized by us)
- Table drinks will be billed separately (please settle before leaving the restaurant).

There is no need for further confirmation.
