USA – An Investment Location & Innovation Hub?
The American market is rapidly evolving, with low tax burdens, an innovation-friendly environment, and low energy costs attracting German companies to the USA. Even before the hotly debated Inflation Reduction Act, which lowered corporate taxes, the USA was actively seeking foreign company investments. However, recent subsidy packages have introduced more “local content requirements.” How can German companies benefit from these programs during their market entry and expansion in the USA, and what should be considered regarding product liability? What about the innovation hub in Silicon Valley? What experiences have companies from East Westphalia had in the USA?
