Investment and Funding Programs of the USA

Last year, the US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) introduced a multi-billion-dollar investment package aimed at combating climate change and reshaping the US economy towards greater sustainability through comprehensive tax relief measures. Under the IRA, the USA has initiated investments of over $369 billion solely in climate protection and the strengthening of future industries. Companies should be prepared for the fact that certain tax incentives are tied to the use of components from US production. But how can German companies benefit from the IRA and US funding programs? What business opportunities arise from the transformation of the US economy, especially in the energy sector?
