Women in Business: A Transatlantic Exchange

In the realm of the breakfast panel with U.S. Consul General Pauline Kao, UPS Executive Vice President & Chief Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Officer Laura Lane, as well as Theresa Winkels, AmCham Germany Co-Chair, Regional Chapter North Rhine-Westphalia and Director of the Düsseldorf Office of Economic Development, we would like to discuss current issues and concrete solutions relating to the empowerment of women in the business world with representatives of the transatlantic business community in NRW. By including viewpoints from both sides of the Atlantic, we will look at and compare obstacles that women face in both the German and American business world. We will discuss strategies, success stories, and the important role of men as allies in bringing forward women empowerment.
