In addition to Münster UAS, the following institutions were involved: Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Universidad de Santiago de Chile, INACAP, University of Minnesota, University of Pittsburgh, Northeastern University, Bremen University of Applied Sciences and Coventry University. “Moving the Cities” was supported by TAFH Münster GmbH, UAS7, Pacto Alegre, SAP, Tecnosinos, Tecnopuc, especially also by DWIH São Paulo, and many more.

Moving the Cities 2023 will take place from October 16 to 27 in Münster, Germany. This year’s theme follows the anniversary of 375 years of the Peace of Westphalia: SDG17 – global partnership*.

The project is embedded in the international initiative “xRegions”, which was awarded by the Stifterverband in 2020 as one of Germany’s 30 best ideas for education, science and innovation. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
