Women in Business – Breakfast panel hosted by AmCham and UPS

On the panel providing valuable insights were esteemed guests: Pauline Kao, U.S. Consul General in Düsseldorf; Laura Lane, UPS Executive Vice President, Chief Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Officer; Theresa Winkels, Head of Office for Economic Development at the State Capital of Düsseldorf; and Stefania Lettini, CEO of Lettinis and an enthusiastic UPS customer.

Pauline Kao shared her wisdom, including what advice she would have given to her younger self. These representatives of transatlantic business in NRW engaged in a dynamic discussion on pressing issues and practical solutions regarding the empowerment of women in business. Perspectives from both sides of the Atlantic were exchanged, addressing the challenges faced by women in the German and American business landscapes. Furthermore, participants delved into strategies, success stories, and the vital role of male allies in fostering women’s empowerment.
